It is often strong DoFollow backlinks that can bring our website to the front in Google searches. Unfortunately, it is not exactly easy to find such strong DoFollow backlinks.

Dofollow Link - A Dofollow link is a simple link without any attributes. You can specify the rel="dofollow" attribute if you like, but it's not necessary. Dofollow backlinks are very important for your site because they help increase your site's PageRank and domain authority. Dofollow backlinks from other websites pass PageRank juice to your website or page, thus helping to increase its PageRank and authority. But you also have to remember that you must create dofollow backlinks from higher authority blogs and sites otherwise it can have a negative impact on your site. The feedback that is hollow in nature is called dofollow feedback.

How do you get good dofollow backlinks?

Just analyze the backlinks from other successful websites that are at the top of your target keywords in Google searches. Do they have blogs, social bookmarks, press portals, etc? If you set DoFollow backlinks, you can also try to set a backlink on these pages.

If you want to rank well, for example on the subject of “earning money on the internet”, you must first enter this search term in the Google search. Then examine the top 5 or top 10 in the search results for your DoFollow backlinks, e.g. with the website openlinkprofiler.org. If a website has set some backlinks in forums, blogs, blog directories, etc., it is recommended to also set links on these websites (if this is possible). But please don't overdo it, because not only forum/blog operators spam link, but also Google now penalizes websites that operate massive link spam.

What are DoFollow Backlinks?

Actually, there are no do-follow backlinks, only backlinks with the HTML attribute "rel=nofollow" or without this HTML attribute. These are colloquially referred to as “do-follow links”. Do-follow links allow search engines to follow them and count the link for search engine rankings. With no-follow links, the search engines do not follow the link and do not evaluate it for the calculation of the rankings.

How to find links to Dofollow and Nofollow?

Source code checking is one of the main and common ways to check if a link is dofollow or nofollow. In this method, simply open the site page source code and look for the rel=”nofollow” attribute before or after the link. If it is present there, then the link is nofollow, otherwise it will be dollow. This is a bit of a labor-intensive method, but if you're using the Firefox browser, you can check the link in a second using the Firebug addon. Just install the Firebug addon, test the link using it, and look for rel=”nofollow” as shown in the image below.

How Else You Can Find DoFollow Backlinks

But you can also easily search for suitable forums for your topic using Google search. Many forums have now set links to NoFollow, but there are still some without this attribute. To find thematically appropriate forums, you can simply enter the following search queries on Google:

Your keyword + "forum"

Your keyword + "join forum"

Your keyword + “powered by VBulletin”

Then check the forums to see if the links are set to NoFollow or DoFollow (How to do that? Read the next subheading). Another easy way to get DoFollow links is to comment on blogs. Check Backlinks: DoFollow or NoFollow?

To find out if the backlink you placed in a forum, for example, is set to DoFollow, all you have to do is right-click on the link and click "Inspect Element". A window with the link will appear. Stands here <…. rel=” external nofollow “ href=”http://www.DeineWebseite.de” …> is the NoFollow link. If no NoFollow attribute is noted in the link code, the link is definitely DoFollow. This can be very useful for finding out whether comments on a blog or links on a forum are dofollow or not.

Words of warning at the end

Always make sure you have a natural backlink profile. A healthy mixture of anchor text, a large number of backlinks from different backlink sources, some nofollow backlinks, etc. often indicate a naturally grown backlink profile and that is exactly what we want to achieve. Google now recognizes manipulated link profiles very well and penalizes them quite often in the search.
